CLARENCE HAROLD MOUDY

Clarence Harold Moudy, aged 81, died May 22, 2009, in Prairie Grove, Ark. Clarence was born November 30, 1927 in Cassville, Missouri. Clarence was an Army veteran and became a pilot after being discharged. He became an aero crop duster and worked primarily in New Mexico and Texas. He had a keen interest in horses and raised, raced and bred thoroughbreds. He lived in Spearville, Kansas, for a time and moved to Perry, Oklahoma, where he lived for many years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Florene, his parents Ernest and Maxine Moudy, by three sisters, Joy, Joyce and Ernestine Moudy and three brothers, Ralph, Larry, and Walter F. Moudy.

He is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Arias and her husband, Albert, of Roswell, New Mexico, and Corina Yates and her husband, Bruce, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, and four grandchildren, Zach, Zane and Zoe Arias and Patrick Carr. Clarence is also survived by a brother Wayne Moudy and his wife, Glenda, of Taylorsville, Kentucky, and a brother Allen Moudy and his wife, Pauline, of Cape Fair, Missouri. Three sisters, Wynona Dodd and her husband, Mike, of Grandview, Missouri, Linda Jones and her husband, Jim, of Spearville, Kansas and Norma Timmons and her husband, Lynn, of Lenexa, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Clarence's wishes, the body is to be cremated. A private memorial service will be held in Missouri during a family reunion in June.
