SHIRLEY M. ALBERTSON VAN VORST

Shirley M. VanVorst, 68, of Monett, died Sunday, May 17, 2009, at Monett Health Care Center in Monett.

She was born in Franklin County on Jan. 1, 1941, the daughter of Pete and May (Martin) Albertson. She was a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Wayne Moeller. She married Richard VanVorst on May 8, 1998, and he survives.

Additional survivors include: three daughters, Terry Darnell, of Purdy, Debbie Bair, of Springfield, and Tammy Hewitt, of rogers, Ark.; one son, Robert Moeller, of Wentworth; one sister, Norma Fryer, of Gerald; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were held today (Wednesday) at Muncie Cemetery, near Wheaton, with Arnold Evans officiating.

Arrangements were handled by Lakin Funeral Home, Pierce City.
