Democrat Photo The Cassville Community Foundation plans to establish the Olen J. Brattin Scholarship Fund with monies that are acquired through the sale of Olen Brattin's former home, 10 acres of land and the inventory of Olen Brattin's electrical supply business. Olen Brattin's children, Jim Brattin and Sherry Wiseman, donated the property and inventory to the Foundation to establish the fund, which will provide scholarships for Cassville, Wheaton and McDonald County high school students. McDonald County students who receive scholarship monies through the fund must live in the Rocky Comfort area where Olen Brattin grew up.
