WILLIA GEANE LEMMON

Willia Geane Lemmon, 82, of Joplin, formerly of Cassville, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Meadows Care Center in Joplin.

She was born June 4, 1926, in Wheaton, to William and Ada Reed Gundel. She was a homemaker.

She married Clifford Leon Hilburn in July 1942 in Eureka Springs, Ark. She later married David Lemmon. They both preceded her in death.

Survivors include: two daughters, Connie Lansdown, of Joplin, and Janice Kay Rubenaker, of Campbell, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Billy Leon Hilburn.

The body has been cremated under direction of Buchanan Funeral Home, Monett.
