Patricia Lou "Patty" Holden, 62, of Cassville, passed away Friday, April 3, 2009, in her home.

She was born July 28, 1946, in Forsyth, the daughter of Earl Edward and Mary Lou (Wheeler) Newman. On Feb. 13, 1976, she was united in marriage to Edgar "Tim" Holden.

Survivors include: her daughter, Lucinda Keen and her husband, Jason, of Exeter; her mother, Mary Lou Newman, of Cassville; three brothers, John Newman and his wife, Rose, of Exeter; Donald Newman and his wife, Linda, of Cassville, and Ronald "Freck" Newman, of Cassville; four sisters, Marilyn Fortner of Cape Fair, Earlene Harbor and her husband, Bill, of Reeds Spring, Carol Cook and her husband, Lee, of Pierce City, and Pam Clark and her husband, Dale, of Cassville; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father; and one brother, Ernie Newman. She graduated from Cassville High School. Most of her life was spent in Barry County. She was employed a few years with Emerson Electric Company in Rogers, Ark. For 25 years Patty worked at Fasco as a repair operator. She had been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Jack Freeman conducted the services.
