DONNA BURKETT

Donna Burkett, 56, of Seligman, died Sunday, March 22, 2009, at her home. She was born Nov. 23, 1952, at Highland Park, Mich., to Henry R. Lakin and Lizzie Frances David Lakin. She was employed at Walmart. She was a member of New Prospect Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Burkett, and her father.

Survivors include: her husband, Ray Burkett, of Seligman; one son, Brett Burkett, of Ft. Sill, Okla.; two daughters, Cindy Wright and her husband, Jimmy, of Pea Ridge, Ark., and Kim Burkett, of Seligman; her mother, Lizzie Lakin, of Washburn; and two brothers, Henry Thomas Lakin and his wife Debbie, and David Wayne Lakin, all of Washburn.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) at Sisco Funeral Home Chapel in Pea Ridge, Ark., with Rev. Ron Shults officiating. Burial was at Ruddick Cemetery.
