John Frank Rochovansky, 96, of Shell Knob, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2009, in Ozarks Community Hospital, Springfield.

He was born June 30, 1912, in New York City, N.Y., the son of Andrew and Gisella (Gregorovic) Rochovansky. On April 9, 1941, in Wilton Conn., he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Anne "Betty" Levenda, who survives.

Additional survivors include: two sons, John David Rochovansky and his wife, Caralee, of Connecticut, and Thomas A. Rochovansky and his wife, Nancy, of Shell Knob; one daughter, Laura Lee Rodrock and her husband, Jim, of Shell Knob; two grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and one sister.

A small gathering of family and close friends attended a prayer service in his memory on Saturday, March 21, 2009, in Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob. Rev. Bob Gaddis conducted the service.
