Commerce Bank has introduced new services that will make it easier for customers to manage their finances. The bank recently added mobile banking service and alerts by e-mail.
"Technology is always expanding, and Commerce strives to stay current with technology to provide service to our customers," said Mike McCracken, Commerce Bank Cassville president.
"Mobile banking is a great product for anyone who is looking for quick information about their accounts," said McCracken. "We know people are busy and on the go, and this is another way Commerce can make banking easier for our customers. We believe the new products will especially help young people who are just starting to learn how to manage their finances by providing them quick information or alerts about their accounts."
Commerce Bank's new mobile banking service allows on-line banking customers to manage finances from a web-enabled cell phone or other mobile device. Customers can view account balances, activity from the last seven days and transfer funds between Commerce Bank accounts using mobile banking service.
"Commerce is offering our customers a simplified mobile banking experience that can be easily viewed on a smaller mobile screen," said John Capuro, on-line banking product manager. "This time-saving technology allows customers who have web access on their mobile device to manage their finances using any mobile device with Internet access at no additional charge from Commerce."
On-line customers can further manage their finances by signing up for e-mail alerts, which notify customers about important account activity. Alerts will be sent to the customer when bank balances fall below a specified amount, a direct deposit is received or when information about their address, customer identification or password has been changed.
Commerce Bank has also redesigned its website to offer customers a new look, new content and improved navigation to help customers find information more quickly. The website also features an area for news and current Commerce Bank promotions. Customers can log into their on-line account directly from the commercebank.com home page.
"Over the last year, Commerce has conducted surveys and research studies to ask our customers what they wanted from our website and those results have influenced the new website design and content," said Cindi Tetrault, on-line services manager. "The website has been redesigned to allow customers quicker access to their accounts and to more easily determine which products and services best meet their needs."
