Longtime businessman, Olin J. Brattin, 89, of Cassville, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, in Red Rose Inn of Cassville.
He was born Dec. 5, 1919, in Rocky Comfort, the son of Noah and Minnie (Wells) Brattin, who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Bowsher.
He is survived by one son, Jim Brattin and his wife, Amy, of Harrison, Ark.; a daughter, Sherry Wiseman and her husband, Steve, of El Dorado Springs; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He received his education in Rocky Comfort. After graduating from high school he received an associate degree from Monett Junior College. He started his electrical supply business in 1972 and operated it until his illness forced his retirement. He was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ in Cassville.
Funeral services were held Monday in Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Wayne Deffenbaugh conducted the services. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cassville.
