Tina May Scott, age 39, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 8, 2009, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield, Missouri.
She was born September 20, 1969, in Compton, California, the daughter of Charles "Chuck" and Lavonne (Davis) Scott. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lavonne; grandfathers, Charles Scott, Sr. and Dave Davis; and an uncle, David Scott.
She is survived by: her father and step-mother, Charles "Chuck" and Lynn Scott, of Purdy; three children, Brandon, Kelsea and Randi Harkins, all of the home; one brother, Jim Scott, of Purdy; a step-brother, Jeremy Davis, of Republic, Missouri; grandmothers, Margie Courtney, of Monett, Missouri, and Lois Davis, of Bullhead City, Arizona; step-grandparents, Ralph and Phyllis Davis, of Monett; aunts and uncle, Margo and David Bjork, of Bakersfield, California, and Brenda Edwards, of Corona, California; a niece, Melissa Scott, of Monett; a nephew, Chris Scott, of Purdy; two great nieces, Liliana Ruiz, of Monett, and Hailey Scott, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; and a great nephew, James Scott, of Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
Tina received her education in Paramount, California, where she graduated from high school. At the age of 18 she moved to Monett and 10 years ago purchased a ranch in Purdy, where she raised miniature horses. She was also employed as a welder for Fasco Industries.
Private services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
Contributions may be made to Tina Scott Trust for her children in memory of Tina. The trust is set up at Bank of America. PAID OBIT
