BILLY SIMPSON

Billy D. Simpson, 73, of Cassville, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2009, at the Red Rose Inn in Cassville. He was born on Nov. 26, 1935, son of Charles and Thelma Rozella (Fisher) Simpson in Denver, Colo. He attended school and graduated from SamNorwood, Texas. After several years of service, he retired from the Andrews Jergens Company in Burbank, Calif. He moved to Cassville over 10 years ago.

Survivors include: two daughters, Sonya Parker, of Cassville, and Brenda Ruiz, of Brea, Calif; three brothers, Charles Simpson, Lawrence Simpson, and David Simpson; two sisters, Sue Bowen, and Lanie Ingram; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Deana May (Simpson) Sullivan in 1980.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.
