Daryel William Brock, 61, of Jefferson City, passed away Monday, Jan. 12, 2009, in St. Mary's Health Center, Jefferson City.
He was born July 27, 1947, in Cassville, the son of Roger and Arvilla (Hall) Brock, who preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two sons, Roger Brock and his wife, DeDe, and Danny Brock, all of Cassville; and three grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Cassville High School. He received his bachelor of science degree at the University of Missouri in Columbia. During his high school years, he played football and was always a huge sports fan. In 1996, he received the Governor's Award for his work in on-site wastewater management. He left Cassville eight years ago to move to Jefferson City, where he was bureau chief of environmental regulations and licensure for the Missouri Department of Health.
Graveside services were held Friday at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville. Rev. Bob Neeley conducted the services.
