Wilma C. Fulton, age 91, of Shell Knob, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at the Barry County Care Center in Cassville.

She was born on Feb. 24, 1917, in Des Moines, Iowa. the daughter of Bert and Ovidea (Smithback) Exline. She was united in marriage to Jerould Fulton in Bethany on Jan. 19, 1935. She worked various jobs throughout her life, the most recent being a bookkeeper for the Polk County Treasurer's office in Des Moines, Iowa. She and her husband, Jerould, moved to Shell Knob in 1980 to make their home. She was a member of the Grace Community Fellowship Church in Shell Knob.

Survivors include: her husband of 73 years, Jerould Fulton, of Shell Knob; one son, Jerry Fulton, and his wife, Deanna, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., and Shell Knob; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald and Marvin; four sisters, Irene, Orpha, Betty and Grace. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Hubert Exline.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Grace Community Fellowship Church in Shell Knob with Pastor Jonathan Brobston officiating. Burial followed at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield.

Rememberance services were presented by the Shell Knob VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2203.

Memorials may be made in her honor to the Grace Community Fellowship Church, Barry County Care Center, or St. John's Hospice and may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
