* Lady Bulldogs hang tough against Diamond. The Wheaton Lady Bulldogs defeated Diamond last Monday, winning by a final score of 43-36. Mica Tichenor was the leading scorer for Wheaton, putting up 13 points on the night.
* East Newton conquers Southwest. Last Monday night the Lady Trojans of Southwest squared off with East Newton in what turned out to be a disappointing match for Southwest as they were defeated 60-50. Despite the loss, Chelsea Sneed had an excellent night, tallying 22 points for the Lady Trojans. Kelsey Henry contributed 10 points in the loss.
* Lady Tigers pounce on Clever. In a semi-final game at the Walnut Grove Classic, the Exeter Lady Tigers hammered out a 54-48 victory over Clever last Friday. Whitney Edie put up an amazing 31 points for Exeter, and Destani Stensrud accumulated 10 points, including a three-pointer for the Lady Tigers.
