Verona man injured in crash on Business 60

A Verona man was moderately injured in a two-vehicle crash on Business 60 three miles east of Monett last Thursday.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2001 Dodge Dakota, driven by Mark Jennings, 42, struck the rear of a 1996 International trash truck that was not occupied.

Jennings was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital-Springfield.

The Patrol report indicated that Jennings was wearing a seat belt when the crash occurred at 6:10 a.m.
