The annual Southwest Holiday Tournament will begin in the Southwest High School gymnasium in Washburn on Saturday, Dec. 27.
During the first round, top-seeded Pea Ridge, Ark., High School will take on Exeter High School at 4:30 p.m.
Other first round games include: East Newton High School versus Pierce City High School, 6 p.m.; Purdy High School versus Wheaton High School, 7:30 p.m.; and Eureka Springs, Ark., High School versus Southwest High School, 9 p.m.
The tournament will resume on Monday, Dec. 29 with consolation bracket games at 4:30 and 6 p.m. and semi-final games at 7:30 and 9 p.m.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday, Dec. 30. The seventh place game will be played at 4:30 p.m. The consolation bracket game will be held at 6 p.m. The third place game will begin at 7:30 p.m., and the championship game will be played at 9 p.m.
