Freddie Clements, 72, of Cassville, passed away on Friday, Dec. 19, 2008, at her home in Cassville.
She was born on June 10, 1936, in Blythville, Ark., the daughter of Roy and Viola (Vernon) Holt. She worked for Western Auto in Kansas City and retired after 28 years of service.
She was united in marriage to James Clements on Feb. 6, 1980, in Kansas City. They moved to the Shell Knob area in 1989. In 2001 they moved to Cassville to make their home.
Survivors include: her husband of 28 years, James Clements, of Cassville; one son, Brian Hobbs, and his wife, Sharon, of Manhattan, Kan.; two grandsons; one stepdaughter, Linda Dempsey, and her husband, Mark, of Salem, Va.; two sisters, Edna Scott, of Oxford, Miss., and Neta Kimes, of Memphis, Tenn.; and one brother, Larry Holt, of Blythville, Ark.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the American Legion Memorial Park, P.O. Box 432 Cassville, MO 65625.
