Marilyn Lee Liggett, 45, of Golden, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008, at her home. She was born on March 27, 1963, in Wichita, Kan., the daughter of Robert "Bob" and Mary Beard.
She was a graduate of Cassville High School. She was united in marriage to Terry Liggett on March 17, 1990, in Shell Knob. She was the previous owner and operator of the Red Barn Flea Market in Eagle Rock. She attended the Golden First Southern Baptist Church.
Survivors include: her husband, Terry Liggett, of Golden; one son, Danny Liggett, of Springfield; one daughter, Katie Jiles, of Golden; her mother, Mary Beard, of Golden; one sister, Dee Gaston, of Wichita, Kan.; her mother-in-law, Doris Liggett, of Golden; three brothers-in-law, T.W. and Tony Liggett, both of Golden, and Tracy Liggett, of Wichita, Kan.; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Beard.
Memorial services were held Tuesday at the Golden First Baptist Church in Golden, with Rev. Woodrow E. Fletcher and Rev. Jim Clay officiating.
