Kornerstone announces drawing winners

Sherry McCann, of Shell Knob, won a $250 Fastrip gift card that was given away during the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce-sponsored Fall Festival and Chili Cook-Off on Oct. 25. The drawing raised funds for Kornerstone's Family Literacy Program.

Kornerstone gave away four other gifts during a penny drawing that was held during the festival. Winners included: Kenny Schieler, "Curious George Visits the Aquarium" book; Adele Potts, stuffed penguin; Betty Berry, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?" book; and Lisa Miller, stuffed brown bear.

Mike Carr, of D-Carr Investments, Inc., in Cassville, helped sponsor the fundraiser by donating $50 toward the gas card give away.
