Virginia Biesemeier, 72, of Shell Knob, passed away on Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at her home in Shell Knob.
She was born on April 5, 1936, in Linwood, Calif., the daughter of Bill and Opal (Nieber) Glancy. She was united in marriage to John Biesemeier on April 12, 1969, in Lompoc, Calif. He survives. They moved to the Shell Knob area 10 years ago to make their home.
Additional survivors include: two sons, Alan Rucker, and Brian Plymate, both of Oregon; three daughters, Johna Biesemeier, of San Francisco, Calif., Vicki Colson, of Ore., and Monica Biesemeier, of Florida; two brothers, George Glancy, of Beatty, Oregon, and David Neilson, of Tupelo, Miss.; two sisters, Connie White, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Doris Mugavera, of Vista, Calif.; and several grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Paul Rucker.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home.
