MAE ROBINSON

Mae Robinson, 75, of Wills Point, Texas, passed away Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, in a Grand Saline nursing home. She was born in Butterfield on June 20, 1933, the daughter of Charlie L. Amos and Letha A. Henson Amos. She was raised in Butterfield. She was married to Virgil Pugh for 13 years and later married to William Bole Robinson for 22 years. She moved to Garland, Texas, and was employed by Corrigan Jordan Insurance Company as an underwriter, retiring in 1988. She moved to Wills Point 10 years ago and attended Trinity Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Virgil Pugh and William robinson; one daughter, Frances Pugh; and one sister, Charlene Amos.

Survivors include: one son, Mike Pugh and his wife, Sherry, of Carrollton, Texas; two daughters, Debbie Keel and her husband, James, of Wills Point, and Tammie Keel and her husband, Jim, of Rockwall, Texas; three brothers, Charles Amos and his wife, Juanita, of Oklahoma City, Okla., Bill Amos and his wife, Virginia, of Tulsa, Okla., and Rex Amos and his wife, Dianna, of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister Faye Hayes and her husband, Oliver, of Alba, Texas; nine grand-children; 10 great-grand-children; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills

Point, Texas, with Pastor Jeremy Ogdie and Pastor Shane Ogdie officiating.

Graveside service will be held at Arnhart Cemetery in East Purdy at 10 a.m. on Nov. 1 with Pastor Jonathan Reichman, of Tulsa, Okla., officiating.
