Anthony Oxford, 52, of Seligman, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2008, in Cassville.
He was born on April 21, 1956, in Rogers, Ark., son of Virgil and Janet (Reeves) Oxford. He grew up in the Rogers and Pea Ridge, Ark., area, moving to Seligman over 25 years ago. He was a self employed construction worker. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of the National Rifle Association.
Survivors include: one son, Christopher Oxford, and his wife, Katie, of Noel; eight brothers, John Oxford, and his wife, Twila, of Brightwater, Ark., Gary Oxford, of Cassville, Mikey Oxford, of Seligman, Alan Oxford, and his wife, Liona, of Seligman, Douglas Oxford, and his wife Diana, of Seligman, Daryl Oxford, and his wife, Brenda, of Seligman, Brandon Oxford, of Seligman, and Jimmy Oxford and his wife, Brandi, of Seligman; two sisters, Teresa Wubker, and her husband, Wayne, of Cassville, and Anita Robins, and her husband, James, of Pineville; and one grandson,
Graveside services were held on Friday at the Rambo Cemetery Southeast of Rogers, Ark., with Pastor John Ledenham officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home in Cassville.
