Several Arkansas residents were injured in a one-vehicle crash on Highway 86 in Eagle Rock on Saturday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a 2008 Dodge pickup, driven by Rozella McKinney, 59, of Pea Ridge, Ark., traveled off the right side of the road, struck a stop sign and overturned.
McKinney and her passengers, Charles Sanders, 89, of Springdale, Ark., and Hannah See, 1, of Pea Ridge, Ark., were taken to St. Mary's Hospital in Rogers, Ark. McKinney and Sanders were moderately injured and See sustained minor injuries in the crash.
The Patrol report indicated that McKinney, Sanders and See were all wearing seat belts when the crash occurred at 1:15 p.m.
Other traffic crashes
* Last Wednesday, two Wheaton residents and a Purdy man were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 37 one-half mile north of Cassville. The crash occurred when a 1994 Mercury Cougar, driven by Levi Halog, 21, of Wheaton, pulled into the path of a 1985 Ford F150, driven by Charles Miller, 58, of Purdy. Halog, who was seriously injured in the crash, was taken by ambulance to St. John's Hospital in Joplin. Miller and Halog's passenger, Zandria Taylor, 18, of Wheaton, were taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville by ambulance. Taylor and Miller sustained moderate injuries in the crash, which occurred at 3:45 p.m.
* A Purdy woman and four Monett residents were injured in a three-vehicle crash on Highway 60 one mile east of Monett last Wednesday. The crash occurred when a 1994 Buick Regal, driven by Peggy Utter, 59, of Purdy, stopped to make a left hand turn. A 2002 Chrysler PT Cruiser, driven by Carsyn Meeks, 17, of Monett, struck the rear of a 1997 Pontiac Sunfire, driven by Kathy Roberson, 23, of Monett, which struck the rear of Utter's vehicle. Utter, Roberson and her passenger, Kadence Carnes, 3, of Monett, were taken by private vehicle to Cox Monett Hospital. Meeks and her passenger, Colton Meeks, 13, of Monett, were taken by ambulance to Cox Monett Hospital. The crash occurred at 3:38 p.m.
