A variety of activities are scheduled to be held at schools across Barry County in honor of Red Ribbon Week, which is Oct. 23 through Oct. 31.
Cassville Intermediate School students will participate in a Red Ribbon Week program in front of the Barry County Courthouse on Tuesday, Oct. 28. Cassville Mayor Tracy Holle, the Cassville High School color guard and middle school cheerleaders and band members are scheduled to participate in the event, which will begin around 9:30 a.m.
reciting a drug-free pledge.
Red Ribbon Week assemblies and drug resistance education activities are also scheduled to be held at the Southwest, Wheaton, Exeter, Purdy and Shell Knob school districts.
