LOLA PARKER

Lola Marie (Childress) (Pryor) Parker, 75, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, at her daughter's home in Sarcoxie. She was born May 27, 1933, in Viola, the daughter of Thomas Arthur and Arvilla (Wilkee) Moore.

She was a waitress and a cook.

Survivors include: three sons, Charlie Childress and his wife, Bev, of Purdy, Ronald Childress and his wife, Laquita, of Pierce City, and Kenny Pryor and his wife, Sallie, of Monett; one daughter, Marsha Mize and her husband, Rick, of Sarcoxie; two stepsons, Alvin Pryor, of Cassville, and Leon Pryor, of Marshfield; four stepdaughters, Sheila Pryor, Mary Moore, Jewel Simpson, and Norma Hayes; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by husbands, Homer Childress, Olon  Pryor and Alan Parker; one stepson, Norman Parker; and one brother, Johnny Moore.

Funeral services were held Sunday at Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home, Monett. Burial was at Pierce City Cemetery.
