Deborah Louise Wood, 51, of Shell Knob, passed away Friday, Oct. 17, 2008, in St. John's Regional Health Center, Springfield.

She was born Sept. 5, 1957, in Lexington, Ky., the daughter of William and Louise (Davidson) Wallace.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandparents.

Survivors include: two sons, Gregory Coleman Wood, of the state of Washington, and Robert Wood, of Bucyrus, Kan.; a daughter, Meghan A. Wood, of Bucyrus, Kan.; her mother, Louise Wallace, of Shell Knob; and a sister, Suzanne Fullerton and her husband, Sam, of Barnwell, S.C.

She graduated from high school in Cassville, then attended college in Kansas City. She was a secretary for Black & Veach in Overland Park, Kan., before she moved to Shell Knob to make her home. Her body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
