Elizabeth Lorraine Walker, 86, of Monett, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008.

She was born Nov. 15, 1921, in Macon County, the daughter of Stanley G. and Ella (Austen) Johnston. On Dec. 24, 1946, she was united in marriage to Homer Walker, who preceded her in death in 1960. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, David Walker; two grandchildren and three brothers, Stanley, Joseph and George Johnston.

Survivors include: a son, Robert Walker, of Huntsville; two daughters, Nancy Clark and her husband, Blaine, of Moberly, and Mary Ronimous and her husband, Marvin, of Monett; a sister, Theresa Lea of Macon; eight grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She grew up and received her education in Macon County. In 1998, she moved from Moberly to Monett to make her home. She was a homemaker. She was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and a member of the Kingdom Hall in Monett.

Her body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.

Services are pending at the Monett Kingdom Hall.
