Amy Carr, of Port St. Lucie, Fla., has been awarded the prestigious Honor's College Fellowship to study at the University of Arkansas. Amy is the daughter of Jim and Melanie Carr and the granddaughter of Shirley Carr and Shirley and Mel Hutchinson, all of Cassville. Fellowship Scholars typically have national test scores in the top 2 percentile and have demonstrated academic achievement by performing at the top level in the most advanced high school courses. These fellowships also provide up to $50,000 in scholarship awards. Amy, who is a freshman this fall, plans to major in pre-med with a minor in Spanish.
