Purdy Eagles fall to Spokane

The Purdy Eagles fell to Spokane this week, losing 5-4 on the road.

Kevin Miller pitched 5.1 innings and took the loss. Mason Roller pitched .2 scoreless innings and also had a solo homerun in the fourth inning. Daniel Barrientos had two hits and scored once.

"We collected four hits on the night and could not come through with the big hit when we needed it," said Purdy Coach Josh Hughes.

Purdy hosts Southwest at 5 p.m. on Thursday and then play in the Exeter Tournament this weekend. Purdy is scheduled to play at 4 p.m. on Friday against Wheaton and at 8 p.m. on Friday against Exeter. Their Saturday game against Hurley is set for 2 p.m.
