Judy K. Green, 60, of Shell Knob, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, at her home in Shell Knob.
She was born on Feb. 2, 1948, in La Cygne, Kan. to Fletcher and Velma (Rogers) Hewitt. She married Terry Green on Aug. 14, 1965, in La Cygne, Kan. In 1987, they moved to Shell Knob to make their home. She was retired from Tyson's in Berryville, Ark. She was a member of the Viola Baptist Church and Swan Chapter #311 of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include: her husband of 43 years, Terry Green, of Shell Knob; one son, Jeff T. Green, and his wife, Jackie, of Phoenix, Ariz.; one daughter, Amy Moore, and her husband, Trent, of Eagle Rock; two brothers, Jack Hewitt, of Maulden, Ill., and Larry Hewitt, of Olathe, Kan.; three sisters, Joyce Hewitt, Virginia McGee, of La Cygne, Kan., and Dorthy Combs, of Miriam, Kan.; and five grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Billy Joe Hewitt.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 9 at the White Funeral Home in Cassville, with Rev. Lawrence Shuey officiating. Cremation followed. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
