Gena Fae Hart, 63, of Cassville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 11, 2008, at her home in Cassville.
She was born on Oct. 8, 1944, in Tulia, Texas, daughter of Clifford and Edna (Peppard) Henthorn. She was united in marriage to Maurice "Buddie" Hart on May 27, 1962, in Canadian, Texas. In 1967 they moved to Cassville to make their home. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cassville.
Survivors include: her husband of 46 years, Maurice "Buddie" Hart, of Cassville; one son, Don Hart, and his wife, Raylene, of Eagle Rock; two daughters, Terry Fae Hart, of Cassville, and Kelley Hart, and her husband, Peter Kozma, of Columbus, Ohio; two brothers, Don Henthorn, and his wife, Fay, of Tulia, Texas, and Jimmy Moore, of Tulia, Texas; two sisters, Betty Starnes, of Tulia, Texas, and Nancy Riffe, and her husband, Jeff, of Cassville; one step-daughter, Nova Kay Finocchiaro, and her husband, Kevin, of Cassville; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four step-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Kerry Henthorn.
Graveside services were held on Monday at the Pilant Cemetery in Cassville with Rev. James Weaver officiating.
Memorials may be made to Community Hospice of Monett and may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home in Cassville. Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
