Local producers have an opportunity to support the Cassville High School FFA Chapter by purchasing Pfizer vaccine at Cassville MFA through Nov. 30.

"The Pfizer company has invited qualified retailers to join in the program to give 3 percent of all money collected on qualifying Pfizer vaccines to local FFA chapters," said Paul Adams, Cassville MFA manager.

Cassville MFA will host a kickoff event for the Pfizer vaccine program from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 13.

"Cassville High School FFA members will be at Cassville MFA on Saturday to help institute the program," said Adams. "We will have some great prices on Dectomax Injectable Wormer and some low feed prices also."

The Cassville MFA plans to serve hamburgers for customers who attend the kickoff event.

"It is a great thing for the Cassville MFA & Pfizer to invite the Cassville (High School) FFA to be a part of their program on Saturday, Sept. 13," said Charli Jo Epperly, Cassville High School FFA advisor. "Their support is greatly appreciated.

"I would like to encourage community members to support our local businesses," said Epperly. "The money is well worth investing to develop the youth of our community."

After the kickoff event, Dr. Grant Woods, wildlife biologist, will host a game plot tour at local properties. Woods will give agriculturalists tips for creating better game plots on their land. The tours will be held from noon to 1:30 p.m.
