Paul William Shearer, 35, of Rocky Comfort, passed away Thursday, Sept. 4, 2008, in an automobile accident.
He was born Jan. 9, 1973, in Neosho, the son of Joe and Charlene (Dickens) Shearer.
Survivors include: his father, Joe Shearer and his wife, Jeanie, of Fairview; his mother, Charlene Jay and her husband, Duard, of Neosho; a daughter, Kyli Barker; four sons, Axl Bragg, Tyler Culver, Mathias Shearer and Damien; a stepdaughter, Cynthia Bardelli; one sister, Sarah Goostree and her husband, Dan, of Rocky Comfort; three stepbrothers, Jeremy Drake and his wife, Lacey, of Granby, Derrick Drake, of Austin, Texas, and Brian Jay, of Wichita, Kan.; two stepsisters, Karen Snow, of Miami, Okla., and Shelly Dorey, of Fairland, Okla.; and Nana, Leta Moore, of Stark City.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Hubert and Lorene Shearer.
He received his education at East Newton and was a lifelong resident of the Stella area. He was currently a self-employed metal scrapper. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
Graveside services were held Monday at Hazel Green Cemetery, Boulder City, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
