Clinton Ray Baker, 69, of Bull Shoals, Ark., formerly of Exeter, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at the Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home, Ark.
He was born on June 30, 1939, in Cassville, the son of Clyde Baker and Juanita Edens. He worked for many years at a bakery in Rogers, Ark., and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cassville.
Survivors include: his companion of 28 years, Margie Baker, of Bull Shoals, Ark.; two sons, John Baker, of Austin, Texas, and Don Baker, of Rowlett, Texas; three daughters, Mitzi Bowers, of Prairie Grove, Ark., Vicki Hutchison, of Van Buren, Ark., and Shelly Parsons, of St. Joseph; one sister, Gail Hurlburt, of Diamond; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Baker, in 1971; two sons, Ricky Baker and Mikey Baker; and one sister, Billie Ann Stotts.
Graveside services were held on Saturday at the Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with Rev. Bryan Lange officiating.
Arrangements were under the direction of White Funeral Home, Cassville.
