Doris Jean Woolsey, 66, formerly of Shell Knob, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008.
She was born on Nov. 9, 1941, in Fort Russell Township, Ill., the daughter of Clarence and Martha (Lewis) Wilkinson. She married Rodney Woolsey on Dec. 14, 1985, in Woodriver, Ill. He survives.
In 1990, they moved to Shell Knob, where they owned Rod's Barber Shop. In 2005, they moved to Lebanon, to make their home. She was a past member of the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Cassville, and the First Baptist Church in Shell Knob.
Additional survivors include: one son, Jim Law; one daughter, Donna Meisner, and her husband, John; four stepchildren, Cindy and Rob Reinhardt, Tracy Ogul, Scott and Shelly Woolsey, and Kim and David Herbst; 11 grandchildren; and three sisters, Helen Deulm, and her husband, Chester, Mary Lou Olver, and her husband, Jim, and Kathie Rocker, and her husband, Dan.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Mineral Springs Baptist Church in Cassville, with Rev. Milford Baker and Rev. Sam Price officiating. Burial was at Mineral Springs Cemetery, Cassville.
Memorials may be entrusted to the White Funeral Home for the Wood Street Baptist Church in Lebanon.
Arrangements were under the direction of the White Funeral Home in Cassville.
