GED classes to be offered

Thursday, August 28, 2008

On Aug. 25, Kornerstone began hosting general education diploma (GED) classes at its facility, which is located behind the Bridgeway Plaza on Highway 39 in Shell Knob.

Crowder College instructor Janet Dart Ballard will supervise the classes, which are offered from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. each Monday and Wednesday.

Class times are flexible, allowing students to choose what times they would like to attend. Students can also participate in the college's on-line GED classes.

Open enrollment for Kornerstone's free GED classes will be held during the first 15 days of each month.

Individuals interested in attending the adult education classes should call Ballard at 417-858-2887 or visit the Kornerstone facility.
