Jemell M. Ardoin, 53, of Shell Knob, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, in St. John's Hospital, Berryville, Ark.
She was born May 18, 1955, in Seattle, Wash., the daughter of Harrison and Betty (Willard) Ardoin.
Survivors include: her mother, Betty Phoenix and her husband, Bill, of Drumright, Okla.; a son, Keith Wayne Guiles and his wife, Carlita, of Pittsburg, Kan.; a sister, Shawn Hadley Tandy and her husband, Kenneth, of Eagle Rock; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She received her education in Chula Vista, Calif. She was a homemaker and in 2001 moved from Pittsburg, Kan., to Shell Knob to make her home. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Her body was cremated under direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Shell Knob.
A gathering of friends and family was held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Roaring River State Park.
