The Broiler Festival's musical line-up has been expanded tremendously, and will include: Nocturnal Nation at 8 p.m. on Aug. 21; Cory Cope Band at 8 p.m. on Aug. 22; and Jan and Cale Reavis and band at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 23.
Armband nights will be offered on Aug. 20 and 21. Patrons can purchase an armband for $15 each night and ride all designated carnival rides from 6 to 10 p.m.
The festival also features gospel music, a craft fair, exhibition booths, bingo, a horseshow tournament and barbecued chicken.
On Friday, Aug. 22 the Broiler Festival will feature the annual Miss Chick Pageants in five age divisions starting at 6 p.m. at the Crane Christian Community Center.
The Broiler Festival parade will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23 beginning at 10 a.m. The theme for this year's parade is "America, Let's Celebrate."
