He was born May 24, 1938, at McDonald County, Mo., to Amos Laughlin and Rachel Ruddick Laughlin. He was a foundry worker for Bentonville Casting. He was of the Pentecostal faith. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Robert and Melvin Laughlin; and three sisters, dorothy Cooper, Julie McCool and Mary Blevins.
Survivors include: three sons, Rick Laughlin, of Rogers, Ark., Ronny Yancey, of Springdale, Ark., and Randy Yancey, of South Carolina; four daughters, Tammy Brewer, of Carthage, Rachel Copp, of Bentonville, Ark., Frances Nichols, of Pineville, and Cheryl Slack, of Pea Ridge, Ark.; two brothers, Earl Laughlin, of Pineville, and Lawrence Laughlin, of Rocky comfort; three sisters, Eva Laughlin, of Pineville, Sharon Kay Fletcher, of Washburn, and Christine Bristow, of Kansas City; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Jamie Cope officiating.
Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Ark.
