Vera Blythe, 77, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, in Red Rose Inn of Cassville.
She was born in Cape Fair, on Oct. 8, 1930, the daughter of Ross and Lena (Foster) Harris. On March 6, 1954, she was united in marriage to Bob D. Blythe, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three daughters, Curtina Autrey and her husband, Tom, Cathy May and her husband, Russel, and Karen Allen and her husband, Greg, all of Cassville; two brothers, Rudolph Harris, of Washburn, and John Harris, of Springfield; three sisters, Beulah Harris and Bonnie Harris, of Cassville, and Verla Beachboard, of Kansas City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ray Harris, and one sister, Velma Davis.
She received her education in Pasley, Oak Ridge, Purdy and Cassville. She was a graduate of the Cassville High School Class of 1949. She was a member of the Mill Street Church of Christ, where she was a former Bible School teacher.
Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) in Mill Street Church of Christ, Cassville.
Wayne Deffenbaugh, Minister and Don Deffenbaugh, Minister, conducted the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery, Exeter, under the direction of Fohn Funeral Home, Cassville.
