Jarred Mark Welch, 23, of Shell Knob, passed away Tuesday, July 29, 2008, in a motorcycle accident in Shell Knob.

He was born April 29, 1985, in Oklahoma City, Okla., to Mark and Lorri (Watts) Welch.

Survivors include: his parents; one brother, Dillon Welch, of Shell Knob; one sister, Tosha Crumb, and her husband, Bryan, of Guthrie, Okla.; maternal grandmother, Mary Frates, of Crescent, Okla.; paternal grandmother Colleen Welch, of Sebastian, Fla.; and great-grandmother, Kathrine Watts, of Crescent, Okla.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Loren Watts, paternal grandfather, Ret. Colonel USAF Fredrick H. Welch, greatgrandfather, Sy Watts, and cousin and best friend, Willie J. Welch

He attended school in Crescent, Okla., through his junior year and graduated from Cassville High School in 2004. He began working construction with his father at the age of five and turned it into his career after high school. He rode for Ronix Wakeboards and Williams Bros. Ski and Sports, winning several awards. He was a member of the World Wakeboard Association and a supporter of Bikers Against Child Abuse.

Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 4, at the First Baptist Church, Crescent, Okla., under direction of Abernathy Funeral Home, Crescent, Okla.
