"This is the highest honor given to a franchisee," said Doyle James, president of Aire Serv Heating and Air Conditioning, Inc., who presented the Samuels with their award during the company's annual conference in Dallas, Texas.
"David and Kristine are deserving of this award, because they set a high standard for their franchise and are an excellent example to our other franchise owners," added James.
Aire Serv presents the Franchisee of the Year award to the franchisee who has consistently grown through proper training and has a consistently high level of success through quality and professional service. There are currently 140 franchise locations across the United States and Canada.
David Samuel said the award came as a surprise to he and his wife. They did not even know they were in the running for the prestigious honor.
"We had no clue," said David. "We were very surprised. It is rewarding and humbling to be recognized as the 2007 Franchisee of the Year."
David is quick to give his employees credit for their dedication and commitment to excellent service.
"We could not have received this award without the dedication of our employees and the quality service they provide on a daily basis," said David. "We owe our thanks to all of them."
Currently, Aire Serv of SW Missouri, based in Cassville, employs eight individuals. The local company has been in business since 1978 and are in their sixth year as an Aire Serv franchise. In January of 2007, the business moved into a new larger location on Rodeo Grounds Road.
In addition to being named Franchisee of the Year, David Samuel received the Excellence in Leadership award, which recognizes the franchisee who consistently sets an example for others within the entire franchise system by conveying visions, participation and positive contribution.
"I was stunned to receive both awards," said David. "I'm proud to be an Aire Serv franchisee, and I want to assist in any way I can to help this franchise organization be as successful as possible."
