Woman hurt in two-vehicle crash
A Monett woman was moderately injured in a two-vehicle crash on Farm Road 2040 two miles south of Monett on Tuesday.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred as a 2001 Toyota, driven by Amber Souder, 25, of Purdy, pulled into the path of a 1994 Chevrolet, driven by Colleen Kaiser, 50, in an intersection.
Kaiser was taken to St. John's Hospital-Cassville. Souder's passenger, Anne Culler, 33, of Purdy, who sustained minor injuries in the crash, was taken to Cox Monett Hospital.
Souder was not injured in the crash, which occurred at 11:10 a.m.
Other traffic crashes
* On Monday, an Aurora man was moderately injured in a one-vehicle crash on County Road 2010 three miles south of Aurora. The crash occurred as a 1994 Ford pickup, driven by Manuel Perez, 32, ran off the roadway and struck a tree. Perez was transported to St. John's Hospital in Springfield. The crash occurred at 11:15 p.m.
* A Springfield man sustained moderate injuries in a one-vehicle crash on private property two miles east of Jenkins on Friday. The crash occurred as a 2007 Honda all-terrain vehicle, driven by Paul Egan, 31, overturned in a field. Egan was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield. The crash occurred at 9:15 p.m.
