Margaret Mary Tudor Boucher, surrounded by her children and their families, passed peacefully into Heaven at 7:47 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2008. Margaret was born March 23, 1938, in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, to John and Helen Zartman. She was united in marriage to Norman Tudor in 1955 and to this union four children were born.
Margaret was a long-time employee of Vaisey-Bristol Shoe Company in Monett, retiring in 2000. Her warm smile and generous heart won her many loyal friends at work as well as throughout the area. She showed much strength and determination in raising her four children and worked hard providing for her family. Margaret was a loving daughter, a caring mother, and a beloved mother-in-law and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling and the outdoors, especially fishing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Jami Cole.
Margaret is survived by two sons, Doug Tudor and wife, Felicia, of McDowell, and Richard Tudor and wife, Marsha, of Birmingham, Alabama; two daughters, Margaret (Maggie) Cole and husband, Kenneth, of Cassville, and Carolyn Collins and husband, Dennis, of Kimberling City; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Ralph and Wilma Zartman and George and Nancy Zartman, all of El Dorado Springs, Missouri.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, July 9, at 1 p.m. at Virgil City Cemetery in Virgil City near El Dorado Springs, Missouri, under the direction of Buchanan Funeral Home of Monett. Visitation was held Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Buchanan Funeral Home in Monett. Donations may be made to the Virgil City Cemetery in care of the funeral home. Paid
