William LaRue Thomas, 29, of Granby, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, following a car crash.
He was born Dec. 11, 1978, in Stuttgart, Ark., the son of Charles Walton Bush and Barbie Thomas. On March 17, 2007, in Wheaton, he was united in marriage to Sharon Aslee Munday, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three sons, Jonathan LaRue Thomas, Justin and Joshua, all of the home; one daughter, Jessica, of the home; his mother and step-father, Marie and Clint Wells, of Exeter; two brothers, Mikal Hopkins, of Wheaton, and Lonnie Hopkins, of Exeter; three sisters, Jeanne Walling and her husband, Travis, and Leia Wilson and her husband, Jeff, all of Cassville, and Stephanie Hopkins, of Exeter; step-parents, Steve and Carolyn Hopkins of Loachapoka, Ala., and his grandma, Millie.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
He received his education in Stuttgart, Ark. He was a production line worker for Glister-Mary Lee Cereal Company in Joplin. He was an excellent artist and enjoyed being with his family. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 3, 2008, in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Bro. Steve Higgs will conduct the services.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., today (Wednesday) in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton.
