Ready to ride to the rescue

Bill Hailey Arena in Cassville was the site of the Cassville Rotary Club's 71st annual rodeo held June 20 and 21. In the photo, pick-up riders with Hampton Rodeo Co., of Springdale, Ark., wait to help with the calf tying event. Once again, the Cassville Rotary Club attracted lots of spectators who enjoyed the talents and daring of over 120 cowgirls and cowboys. Members of this year's rodeo committee included: Gene Miekley, Stan Kelley, Johnnie Cox and Dennis Baker.
