Erwin "Ted" Lee Weston, 69, of Garfield, Ark., died Thursday, June 19, 2008, at his home. He was born March 31, 1939, at Sand Ridge, Ill., to Orpha John Weston and anna Ruth Sweet. He moved to the area in 1960. He served in the U. S. Navy on board the USS Bache. He was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic. He was a member of Brightwater United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; and three brothers.

Survivors include: his wife, Betty Weston, of the home; two sons, John Weston and Raymond Weston, both of Garfield, Ark.; two daughters, Lee Ann Yates and her husband, Carl, of Garfield, Ark., and Lisa Summey, of Rogers, Ark.; two brothers, Carl Weston and Ray Weston, both of Murphysboro, Ill.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday at Brightwater United Methodist Church with Rev. Jerry Nichols officiating. Burial was at Pratt Cemetery under the direction of Sisco funeral Home in Pea Ridge, Ark.
