Exeter rehires city employees
The Exeter City Council rehired nine city employees at its regularly scheduled meeting on May 19.
The aldermen voted to rehire the following employees: Myrna Eisenbraun, city clerk; Stacie Reed, court clerk and city treasurer; Marty Robbins, public works employee; Doug Keeler, seasonal maintenance employee; Larry Muse, water and wastewater treatment plant supervisor; David Bowman, police chief; Clint Clark, police officer; Dale Burke, municipal court judge; and Jim LeCompte, city attorney.
During the public comment portion of the meeting, Dub Antle addressed the council concerning a tree that was removed from his father's property by C-2 Projects, LLC, which is currently installing new water lines throughout the city.
Although Dub's father, George Antle, did grant the city an easement on his property to install the water lines, Dub felt that the Antle family should have been contacted specifically about the tree removal.
Eisenbraun said that she will submit Dub Antle's written complaint to the engineer.
