Kings River to host golf tourney

The annual Fire and Thunder Golf Tournament raises money to help support the Shell Knob fireworks. The four-person scramble, including men and women, will have a shot-gun start at 9 a.m. on June 7 at Kings River Golf Course.

Prizes for winning teams, door prizes and additional contests will be awarded. Lunch will be served.

The entry fee of $50 per person includes golf cart use. All interested golfers can enter by contacting Kings River Golf Course at 417-858-6330. Kings River is a challenging 18-hole course located on Lake Road 39-72 about six miles south of Shell Knob.
