EDWARD LEE MCMILLEN

Edward Lee McMillen, 82, a Colorado Springs, Colo., resident for 60 years, passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008. He married Nora Ruth Thomas on Oct. 1, 1948. He was born to Robert Lee and Elsie McMillen (Allman) in Fairview, where he lived until he entered the Army in 1944. He was a veteran of World War II and later also served with the Navy Seabees in the Korean War.

Survivors include: his wife, Nora Ruth; three daughters, Jeanne, Judy and Jill; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday in McQueen Funeral Home, Wheaton. Burial with military honors will be in Dice Cemetery, Fairview.

The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time Friday in McQueen Funeral Home.
